Why do we get paid to cover these specific products in our content?+

For our brand partners, premium product placement in trusted editorial is a high-value channel — it drives incremental sales and gives them visibility into which marketing sources are converting. Publisher Expansion has proprietary tech and data visualization that turns those signals into rich insight for the brand. In return, we share that value with publishers: you can monetize the same placement from both the retailer and the brand, and we remit 3% against all matched sales from our product inventory.

What type of brands do I have access to evaluate?+

Our network spans 2,000+ brands across beauty, home, wellness, tech, fashion, outdoor, food & beverage, pets, fitness, travel, kids and auto. Brands skew toward direct-to-consumer companies and established names looking for trusted editorial placement. You always see the product list before agreeing to cover anything — there's no obligation to feature a brand that isn't a fit for your audience.

What retailers can I submit data from?+

We work with the major retail affiliate programs publishers already use — Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and many specialty retailers. If you're driving sales through a retailer that isn't on our list, let us know and we'll evaluate adding it. Importantly, we don't need ad-fee data or tracking IDs — only anonymized, historical transaction records.

Do I interface with the brand?+

No. Publisher Expansion manages every brand relationship end-to-end — contracts, product lists, payments, reporting. You focus on great content; we handle everything else. If a brand needs to flag something, it comes through us first.

Can the brand request content changes?+

No. Editorial independence is non-negotiable. Brands can opt out of having their products covered, but they cannot dictate how you cover them. Your voice, your standards, your audience — your call.

What do I do if a brand reaches out directly?+

Forward the conversation to your Publisher Expansion partner manager. We'll handle it from there. If it's a brand already in our network, we'll route the relationship through the platform so you still earn the 3% brand-side commission.

What do I do if I already have an agreement with a brand on your list?+

Your existing direct deal stays intact — we won't interfere with it. Tell us during onboarding and we'll exclude that brand from your product list so there's no double-counting or conflict.

Is my data safe? Are you compliant?+

Yes. Publisher Expansion is SOC2 compliant. We process only anonymized historical transaction data, we don't ask for ad-fee data, and we don't use tracking IDs. You stay in full control of your data and your audience.

Which countries can publishers be based in?+

We work with publishers across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the European Union, with brand partners and payouts supported in those markets. If you're outside those regions, reach out — we add markets as demand grows.

How and when do I get paid?+

Payouts are calculated monthly against matched sales attributed to your placements. You'll see a dashboard with the math behind every dollar, plus a single consolidated payment — no chasing individual brands.
